Separate the vehicle location from the account address
A loan record may show Murfreesboro while the vehicle’s current lead is in Smyrna, La Vergne, or elsewhere in Rutherford County. Identify the city and full address for each lead rather than combining several places into one location note.
Tell us which address is current, which is historical, and when the vehicle was last observed. If the only information is the borrower’s mailing address, make that clear rather than describing it as a confirmed vehicle location.
Make apartment and workplace leads understandable
For an apartment lead, include the complex name and unit information available in the lender’s records. For a workplace lead, identify the business location and explain the basis of the information. Any access limitations should be stated before an attempt is planned.
A description such as “near the building” is less useful than a dated, specific observation. The VIN and vehicle description still need to identify the collateral; a similar vehicle at the same address is not enough.
Keep changes to the assignment visible
- Name the lender contact who controls the order.
- Communicate payment-related holds or cancellations directly.
- Identify whether a new message changes the lead or changes the requested action.
- Provide updated instructions if a voluntary surrender has been arranged.
Decide the post-recovery destination
Tell us whether the lender wants storage or transport to an approved receiving location. Do not assume a recovered Murfreesboro vehicle will return to a dealership or auction without that instruction.
Review the delivery requirements when a further move is needed. To start the recovery request, use our contact page with the vehicle and lender information.
